CLR #68

A quiet transmission; all music, no me. I know you'll miss my banter, but I wanted to make sure you had fresh tunes for your Thanksgiving travels. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

1 - "Kiss Chase" - Lush. Lush was awesome. This dandy is off their stellar 1994 disk Split.
2 - "Dead Sound" - The Raveonettes. From their brand-spakin'-new disk. I'm glad they've kept that Jesus & Mary sound prominent.
3 - "Microwave" - The Soft Lightes. Go check out the site RCRD LBL right now. Free, legal, DRM-free music downloads, from whence this track comes. Props to my brother in music Luke S. for hooking me up.
4 - "Second Chance" - Liam Finn. Neil's son goes out on his own, and sounds a lot like his uncle Tim.
5 - "I Just Want the Girl In The Blue Dress To Keep On Dancing" - Mike Doughty. The former Soul Coughing lead singer's latest.
6 - "Broke Up The Time" - The Futureheads. One of my favorite bands of 2006 returns with some new stuff.
7 - "Atom" - British Sea Power. Off their current EP and scheduled to be included on their early '08 full release.
8 - "Ceremony" - Radiohead covering New Order. Recorded live during their recent radiohead.tv transmission.

CLR #67

1 - "State of Massachusetts" - Dropkick Murphys. I can spell that since I lived on Mass. Ave for two years.
2 - "King Pleasure Time" - Joe Jackson. Smoking is definitely allowed.
3 - "Everybody Knows Everybody" - Earlimart. Or so they say...
4 - "Creature, Creature" - The Deadly Syndrome. My three-year-old is always talking about a creature. Did she hear this song before me?
5 - "The Feeding of the 5000" - Ian Brown. He still can't top "I Wanna Be Adored," etc.
6 - "Electric Bird" - Sia. I believe Mr. Allison did the Electric Bird at my wedding reception.
7 - "Don and Sherri" - Matthew Dear. Jack and Diane for the 00s?
8 - "Seven Nation Army" - Hard Fi covering The White Stripes. Well done, sirs. Well done.

Now with two downloading options for your convenience. #1 may work better for Windows users, but will expire after seven days.
