CLR #77

Martin Luther King, Jr., 1960. We've come a long way.

1 - "No Warning Given" - Wire. Post-punk masters still hanging around.
2 - "Time To Pretend" - MGMT. Their album cover looks like something out of Lord of the Flies.
3 - "Our Haunt" - Palomar
4 - "Is There a Ghost" - Band of Horses
5 - "I Am A Lightning Rod" - Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos. Indy's finest back in the studio.
6 - "My Friend the Sleepwalker (The Cowbell Song) - AM Syndicate. I got a fever, and the only thing that will cure it is more cowbell.
7 - "I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You" - Black Kids. Try to sit still during this one.
8 - "Archangel" - Burial. Spookiest music of the year.
9 - "MLK" - U2.
10 - "Push It" - The Rosebuds covering Salt n Pepa. Ummm....

DJ D. Derek--I think the cover of "Push It" was pushing it a little too far. Not that it was done all that badly...some things are just better left uncovered :)

I really dug the song by Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos...have you ever seen them live, esp since they're local?

I've not seen the Margos live. If I could only find a decent sitter, I'd get out and see some live music on occasion! :-)
