CLR XMS #47

- “On the Radio” - Regina Spektor. Borderline too soft for CLR. And I never liked “November Rain.”
- “The Sons of Cain” - Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. As Borat would say, “very nice!”
- “The Picture” - Son Volt. Sounding unlike any Jay Farrar track I’ve ever heard.
- “Down in the Valley” - The Broken West. Good stuff from SoCal.
- “Gonlandic Edit” - Of Montreal. Undeniable disco grooves.
- “Everything’ll Fall Apart” - Age Rings. Mid-90s flashback.
- “Yankee Go Home” - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. I’m not loving most of their new stuff, but this is a stand-out track.
- “Dear Prudence” - Siouxsie and the Banshees. One of the greatest covers ever.
